Highly recommended Gemstone and Alli. Couldn’t be happier with our OEB. You can tell the parents and pups are well taken care of, trained and Gemstone is a high integrity small breeder. Alli is very responsive, accommodating and puts together an excellent take home package too!

I highly recommend Gemstone Bulldogges! our pup is so well behaved and is amazing at potty training! they were very clean welcoming and knowledgeable about the OEB. Great dogs and great people!

Alli at Gemstone Bulldogs of the Midwest was SO easy to work with. She is available at whatever time of day to answer and all the questions you have and provides a lot of information and tips for your new fur baby! We picked up our puppy 5 days ago and the puppy is 100% healthy and very well behaved for a puppy. She was socialized which helps and quickly mastered using the dog door and going potty outside already. We are very happy with our puppy and the whole buying experience! I will certainly recommend Alli at Gemstone for anyone looking for a quality Olde English Bulldog!

We got a female guardian program dog from Gemstone Bulldogges (she lives with us but is part of their breeding program), and highly recommend them! Ali was amazing from first contact. She was patient to answer all my questions (and I had about a million), gave us lots of great information when we got our puppy, and has been so helpful with any questions I’ve had since we got her. Our puppy is just the sweetest and is proving to be very easily trainable. I’m so excited for other families to hopefully have the opportunity to love one of our dogs puppies in the future and I’m confident that any puppy available from Gemstone Bulledogges would be equally wonderful.

Allie is very professional and very caring of her pups. she takes pride in raising them. She also helped surprise my husband for his birthday and worked with me in picking Mary Jane aka Elanor up due to conflict in my life. I would definitely recommend her and her puppies any day of the week.

My sister, Alli, has been in love with dogs all her life. When she was little, if we couldn’t find her, the first place I’d look was in the dog kennel. She’d fall asleep with her furry friends in their warm hut. There was a trust between them – a special companionship.
When she discovered the Olde English Bulldogge breed, a new infatuation sprung up in her heart. First and always, there was Bella. I think Alli and Bella were meant to be together. Bella was Alli’s shadow and kindred spirit. Her soul mate, with a swagger and wagging tail.
Bella was beautiful, smart, loyal, and a faithful protector of Alli and then Lola, the second OEB to join their family. Lola is the true underdog – happy to be at the bottom of the pack – only wanting belly rubs and to be near her people.
Alli and her husband, Matt, called Bella “Mama.” And even though Bella never had a litter of her own, she was the catalyst that sent Alli on her venture to begin Gemstone Bulldogges.
After helping Bella and Lola through multiple health problems, and then watching Bella fade away from lymphoma, Alli made a promise to Bella’s precious spirit that she would work to make the breed healthy again. This mission started with Jemma, whom we accidentally call Bella all the time. Jemma is like Bella reincarnate because good dogs never really leave us.
Jemma is the first in line of Alli’s Gemstone Bulldogges, which grew from love, sorrow, and a promise to a forever friend.
From Jemma’s first litter born last August, we added Oliver to our family. A miracle puppy born unbreathing, brought to life by my sister and her sheer dedication to her dogs. But maybe sent to us by Bella.
Ollie – named Onyx as his gemstone – is our treasure. We are better because of them – our dogs. They bring out the best in us through their unwavering friendship, humor, and empathy.
Alli is a wonderful person, but I have seen her shine brighter because of her creation of Gemstone. And I’m grateful and proud of my sister for her drive, tenacity, research, and care to make her favorite breed better.

Gemstone Bulldogs is amazing! The process of getting our puppy was seamless from the time of application to the time of pickup. They kept us updated with videos, pictures, and helpful information until our puppy was ready to come home with us. On the day of pickup we were greeted with a beautiful healthy puppy, some helpful information about our puppy, and an awesome puppy gift basket to get him started in his new home! I could not ask for a better experience and highly recommend Gemstone Bulldogs to anyone looking to add an addition to their family!

Our experience with Gemstone Bulldogges has been amazing from the get-go. Alli is a wonderful communicator and packed with knowledge and bulldog specific resources. Alli and I adopted our first Old English Bulldogges at about the same time (years ago) and both fell in love with the breed. Knowing her passion to better them is what made us decide to get our first breeder puppy as opposed to adoption as we’ve always done, and the fact that the dogs in their program are loved as family dogs and raised around kids and people is so reassuring. It’s hard to believe we’ve already had our Frankie-girl for 5 months and can’t wait to see the dog that she continues to evolve into! Gemstone Bulldogges is 15/10 in our books!
